When LiDestri Foods Inc. opens its new 65,000-square-foot facility at Eastman Business Park next year, it will mark the regional manufacturer’s foray into the frozen food sector.
The partnership between LiDestri and Belgian manufacturer Crop’s N.V. will result in a $51 million investment that will add more than 120 jobs to the region. One Frozen, as the venture will be called, will produce ready-to-eat frozen meals in what LiDestri’s retail partners say is a hot category right now. Rochester Business Journal

LiDestri Food & Drink Looks at New Concepts for Frozen Food
The project is a joint venture between LiDestri Food and Drink and a Belgian company, called Crop's which would add more than 120 jobs. It involves a new production facility at Eastman Business Park. It is a $51 million project, and would be Lidestri’s fourth plant in the area.
John C. LiDestri is co-president of the locally based company. He says this project involves the packaging of frozen fruits and vegetables,and coming up with new concepts for how they are prepared with seasoning and sauces. WXXI News

Growing Portfolio and Rapid Expansion into New Markets Prompts Name Change
With an expanding roster of spirits now in its portfolio, LiDestri Spirits has announced a name change to ROC HOUSE BRANDS. The company will officially introduce the new name at this year's Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America (WSWA) Annual Convention May 1-3.
According to Joe Ragazzo, Vice President of Sales for ROC HOUSE BRANDS, the new name better reflects an east coast company that is rapidly becoming a national player. "We're adding distributors and sales personnel in new markets throughout the country," said Ragazzo. "We might be relatively new onto the spirits scene, but our exciting brand portfolio and industry experienced managers have positioned us for growth and expansion into national markets." Ragazzo, a 35-year spirits industry veteran including 30 years at Brown Forman, joined the company in July 2015.
ROC HOUSE BRANDS will remain a subsidiary of LiDestri Food & Drink. The new name pays homage to LiDestri's birthplace and headquarters, Rochester, NY.
